Yorkshire St. Pauli’s posts

On this very day 11 years ago, a bunch of folk met in a Leeds pub and founded Yorkshire St. Pauli. Since then we've attended countless games, started our Football For All sessions, drank countless beers and made tonnes of friends along the way. YSP forever! forever!

When we say 'no borders' we're not just referring to border walls and fences. We're also on about tearing down a whole system that filters people based on their nationality and marks people as 'desirable' or 'undesirable'.

It feels important to share this again. "There's a variety of reasons people don't want to be filmed, such as they only made it because of a sick note, or are missing a family gathering" Stop posting pictures with people's faces online without permission! Don't dox someone.

Imagine hugging that stranger in the Sudkurve after the final whistle. Imagine going Jolly and Zoo. Imagine getting the RyanAir flight the next morning stinking of cigs and astra with mexikaner soaked into your jeans. HA HA HA HSV.

A young lad has been coming to FFA for a couple of weeks after arriving unaccompanied in the UK a month ago. Got this message from his foster carer tonight. The hostile environment is a horrible beast but communities can show that another way of doing things is possible 💕

Absolutely wild that this little fan club is in its 10th year and Football For All is in its 8th. We're still about, doing bits and bobs, even if we don't tweet as much and do less than others these days.

Found two sealed envelopes in our sticker tin. Presume they’ve got some stickers in but could be owt. Like this and we’ll pick two people at random to receive them.

Tories are scum and this kind of language is not just legitmate, it's important. Voting against feeding the poorest school kids is absolutely fucking repulsive and reveals this Government's thinly veiled contempt for the working class.

The power of this picture is incredible. Colin Kazim-Richards standing, with his fist held high, in the middle of the Den as racists boo in response to an act of anti-rascist solidarity.

Often easy to forget the wonder of and everything the club stands for. Also easy to overlook the people involved in making it so special, and ensuring its values remain intact. It will never be perfect, but in a world of increasing shite, it’s a huge beacon of hope.

This is all created by the Torys in government. They enable these situations with their removal of safe routes and this in-turn empowers the far-right populists. Fuck Nazis Refugees Welcome

They're literally celebrating turning an old rusty bus-cum-train into a classroom for Northern kids. Powerhouse.

As #GreatBritishRailways marks a new era for our railways, we've put retired Pacer trains to new uses serving Northern communities: 🏥A family support centre at a hospital 🍳A kitchen for a mental health charity 📚A new classroom for kids The last one was delivered yesterday👇

Fingers crossed the reality of him losing hits him so hard that his heart fails and he fucking dies. Let his corpse wither away in the ground as he's orange flesh is slowly eaten by the same worms that ate Thatcher. Enjoy your beers folks

Misery for the working class. It's what she'd have wanted

Further to discussions on Friday morning it has been determined that all EFL fixtures from 9-10 September will be postponed as a mark of respect by the National Sport to the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. #EFL efl.com/news/2022/sept

That's a wrap for 2021 on both YSP and Football For All side of things. Boys in Brown at the top of the table and Football For All doing it's thing every week. Look after each other, see you next year.
