That's something that's always bugged me. Focusing more on what random people with no knowledge think of something rather than interviewing actual experts to help educate and provide reliable info just seems crazy. And these days, honestly dangerous.

I don’t understand the point of broadcasting the detailed anxieties of people who aren’t educated in epidemiology. It’s just making people think “hey yeah I should have this anxiety too!” and creating undue hysteria.
