There was no state-wide order closing the doors of my local church. The church moved to on-line only services because they had respect for the vulnerability of their own members. It was a major transition, but still in place after the end of safer-at-home orders.

They (churches) threatened a Charter challenge re: right to peaceful assembly & lawyered up. Im guessing ON govt lawyers are telling him to avoid litigation on this

guessing wrong first it's only fringe ultra conservatives who are basically challenging any and all restrictions and they would lose on section one alone. and there's always section 33 and legal fees would be a pittance for the govt. but not for those initiating a challenge
