I justified it because in week one I was getting reacquainted with gamemaker and felt I could make a better game if I had one more week.

Now the game I have right now is not the game I wanted to make. Which is ok. It also does not have the core mechanic I wanted it to have.

If I compare the game I have to the thing I want to have it is a fail.

But if I compare the game I have to just making something and having a ton of REAL fun - very rare for me - it is a big *bleep* win.

So I think what I am going to do... is break off the features I originally really wanted in this game ... and move on to something new.

AND take the core mechanics I do have on this game and polish them between now and Sunday with Sunday being a release day.
