    Remember folks, it’s only an UNSUBSTANTIATED RUMOR that the reason bends over backwards to protect the white supremacists on his site is because he himself is a white supremacist. This has NOT been substantiated in any way (except by the fact that he follows )

    Accounts like Jones' can often sensationalize issues and spread unsubstantiated rumors, so it’s critical journalists document, validate, and refute such information directly so people can form their own opinions. This is what serves the public conversation best.

    Just to be clear, by “unsubstantiated rumors” is referring to the malicious lie that Sandy Hook was a hoax, a lie with which has orchestrated a campaign of constant harassment against the parents of murdered children. Jack considers it “unsubstantiated.”

    Accounts like Jones' can often sensationalize issues and spread unsubstantiated rumors, so it’s critical journalists document, validate, and refute such information directly so people can form their own opinions. This is what serves the public conversation best.

    We didn’t suspend Alex Jones or Infowars yesterday. We know that’s hard for many but the reason is simple: he hasn’t violated our rules. We’ll enforce if he does. And we’ll continue to promote a healthy conversational environment by ensuring tweets aren’t artificially amplified.
