Yea its an parable about how the blind men all touch differnet parts of the elephant: some the tusk, some the skin, some the snout. And when describing it they all quarrel over it assuming the others are disingenuous Tldr: its egotistical to think personal experience = truth

Also that you should assume others may have information/experiences you dont, and in the pursuit of truth one should treat everyone they meet as if there is something to learn from them. This works all in political, religious, and social context
