Personally I agree with the two state solution, but I really want Palestine to be fully secular. If it is anything like it's neighbors in that regard I can't support it. I think Israel is an amazing example to the rest of the ME.
I totally agree w that as well. I’d never support yet another theocracy. Hopefully both states would be democratic and secular...but I don’t see any of that happening in our lifetime.

When I was Muslim I really hated Israel, but now I realize how free Israel is compared to the rest of the ME. It's the only Middle Eastern nation I'd want to live in now.

Have you seen the Constitution of Palestine? Sharia law is to be the basis of legislation. Other "heavenly" religions will be tolerated so long as they don't offend public morals. No mention of tolerance for atheists.
