When my husband asked his Egyptian friend to teach him some swear words in Arabic, his friend taught him ‘Yahoodi’
When we met, and he learned I was half-Egyptian, he thought it would be funny to impress me w his Arabic—I was mortified
Yahoodi means Jew. https://twitter.com/dontcarebut/status/996162942323306498 …

I think this was to demonize the act of thinking critically so that ppl would be more eager to conform. If asking questions (ie thinking) is considered a Jewish trait, ppl would avoid it. The Quran is full of stories of Jews asking too many questions.

same here with word 'Hindu'...in India though Muslims avoid saying it openly, in Pakistan it's common cuss word to deride or humiliate someone eg U can see on social media Pashtuns or Afghans being labelled Hindu or Hindu ka Yaar(friends of Hindu) purportedly to humiliate them

@Imamofpeace@RitaPanahi I know some Jewish people & none are religious at all. Just like me born into Christianity but I know its all bullshit apart from providing a sense of community & bringing people together. So many mindless zombies who think world is obsessed with religionThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
