Saying atheists should align w Muslims to fight Christianity is just as short-sighted as those that say ExMuslims should align w the far-right since we both fight Islam. No. The division is between Freethinkers and Authoritarians (religious or not).
The political secular left allying themselves with Islamist Muslims has created a lot of problems in Europe and the USA. The logic in the blog post would seem to support this union.
The fact that Islam calls for the death of non-Muslims (9:5), considers us the vilest of creatures (8:55) & calls for our heads to b chopped off (8:12) might be a hindrance to a coalition.
