"Christianity is bullshit, but it gave us human rights and Western values." Christianity didn't give us 'Western values.' Greek and other philosophers discussed ethics in greater detail. Christianity was a step backwards. The Enlightenment gave us these values, not the bible.

The "positive" messages in religious texts are part of the problem. They are a cover for all the bullshit that comes with religion. They are useless and simplistic relative to what thinkers discussed before them, yet they've convinced many that they have introduced these values.
Religions are man-made anyway...so, still us regardless.Yes, I agree that’s a problem. They didn’t introduce the values. They existed before religions and will continue to exist after they’re gone.
