Kudos to Toronto police for not shooting the suspect when he pointed a gun-like object at them in attempt at "suicide by cop". Impressive.
I was so happy to see that. If he were killed, he’d be hailed as a hero. He’d be a shaheed—deserving of the highest level of paradise reserved only for those that die for Allah in the pursuit of spreading Islam. Now he’ll live the rest of his life as a prisoner of infidels.
I was thinking the same thing. That police officer changed the narrative dramatically. Did you see the killer "draw" his gun several times in the hopes he'd get shot? I'm really amazed by the calmness of the police officer.
