Agreed. Was pretty sure that was the point she was making -- articulated it in a slightly different way for the intended benefit of those other people, who may have misunderstood the OP point.
Thanks. Though I doubt they misunderstood it. I guess it’s possible that they are, indeed that dim, but I think it’s more likely that they’re malicious and grasping at anything to try and malign me. So typical of them to go straight for NAZI SYMPATHIZER!! 
I've noticed people will 'intentionally misunderstand' things people say on social media, so they can then build a 'straw man' out of someone and then publicly tear that straw man apart, derailing the discussion & even destroying a person's reputation. It's a very dirty tactic.
