Much less. It’s actually ridiculous. Both groups share the same core beliefs, same Quran, same Hadith...the fight was initially over who would be Muhammad’s successor, really. Some chose his friend (Sunni), others his family (Shia).
Shia and Sunni's do have many difference, same Quran but not same Hadith (btw there are other books too not just hadith's). They pray differently, some beliefs and practices are different. I agree that they shouldn't hate each other because of their differences though
