I was a loyal member of a tribe, and there were lots of great parts about it..but ultimately the price of admission was just way too high (conformity of thought, basically). Seems every tribe acts similarly. - 4 more replies

I like the term "Enlightenment liberal" myself. I don't like the term 'classical liberal' because that automatically implies one embraces Milton Friedman style economics, which I don't think categorizes everyone like you and me.
