Blair is a damaged brand in the UK, he is not trusted and not forgiven for the Iraq invasion. He has united left and right in a mutual loathing of him.

He was a great prime minister here in the UK and undoubtedly made mistakes culturally speaking. However it is impossible to believe he has any interest in the centre ground when he is openly working to delegitimise the brexit result. An afront to democracy.
