The person who wrote that ultra-feminist blog post attacking the Prophet sws writes elsewhere about being abused for years, apparently by her father. I don’t say that excuses it but it’s another example of how Muslims’ evil behavior can push people away from Islam.

Speaking from my own personal perspective, I didn’t leave the faith because of my fathers actions. I knew that his beliefs were outside of mainstream interpretation of Islam. I simply stopped believing in an omnipotent god.
It’s not why I left the faith either. Or why Ayaan did (if you’ve read her books you’d know that), so it seems all three of your examples are wrong.

I understand what you're saying, but I do think people have deeper motivations than perhaps they are consciously aware. But as I understand it, you both do discuss the trauma of these abuses in the context of your journeys out of the faith?
