Ppl like to think theyre superior to the ppl in whatever group they hate But if you were born into their world, youd be just like them. Perhaps youd fight your way out, perhaps not The point is: inherent evil is not a prerequisite. Most ppl are good but caught in an evil web
This goes for everyone: Racists Homophobes Sexists Etc But it still applies to the worst groups humanity has to offer: neo-Nazis and Jihadis. Some are inherently evil, of course, but most are just followers-ensnared in that world for different reasons.
How would you call the web that Jihadists are trapped in?
"...some are born inherently evil..." You really believe that organisms can be born evil? Have you really thought about this?
That's what's frustrating about the way ppl in our societies demonize anyone willing to call out ideologies that promote violence, racism, sexism etc. I agree that some ppl are less empathetic or sinister by their very nature however, toxic ideas create toxic ppl.
...anthropocentrists in that list's etc. The evil web is a dangerous excuse that might invite people not to oppose. If we are doing terrible things, we are evil people, no matter our reasons.
Their actions speak.
Anyone that would use power or force to further their political ends belongs in that group.
