A Synagogue refused to allow me to speak because I’m an #atheist. And now I just got the same treatment from an Ivy League University Republican Group.
It really is sad to see that, though I escaped from Islam’s demands to control my thoughts, the thought police are everywhere.

You are a free person. You're not a victim anymore. You were blessed to have escaped oppressive Islamic Sharia law. You want others to respect your Atheist beliefs. That's understandable. But you can't force it down other's throats. That's what freedom and respect means.
You made a lot of assumptions in that tweet. In both cases, I was invited then the invitation was rescinded once they realized I was an atheist. Do you really think I was forcing myself into their groups and making them listen to me?

If talk was related to atheism I can understand the synagogue,although they were remiss and hurtful not to check before the invitation.Not everyone accepts that there is a wide range of belief systems in moral adults. Republican group was intolerant and needlessly sheltering.
