It's actually trickier than we think as the example of the homeless guy in their talk. Determining what's right & wrong isn't difficult. How to go about liberating the oppressed in other cultures is very daunting project.

Don't think Russel was denying what's right or wrong. He jumped to the conspiracy theory of western domination bcuz he couldn't accept the way went about liberating the oppressed in those cultures.

Never once did Sam suggest that. So why would he argue against a point that was never made? He didn’t even hear Sam. Half the time he’d respond w something completely out of left field like he was asleep while Sam was talking.
