Sometimes I feel sorry for nice Muslims who dont know their religion. When they find out what the Quran and Hadith actually say, they’re genuinely shocked. Ignorance is no excuse though. Read your holy book. It’s the least you can do before you devote your life to following it.

Unless they read it critically, it won't help. It's the same problem xtian fundies have.
Have you read the Quran? It’s pretty shallow. It’s not all deep and metaphorical like the Bible.

I haven't read the Quran except for quotations here and there. Not the type of book I want to use my time with.

Bible is awful ans justifies massacres of women ans childs. It puts women lower than men. The New Testament is better but the Catholic Church as betrayed Jesus words.
