I will never forget, as a young kid, I had a Subway sandwich in my hand as we walked past a homeless man. Without saying anything, I stepped over to hand it to him and my mom swooped in and snatched it from my hand. I was shocked as I thought I was doing a good thing.

The problem is with ur Mum not the religion darling. I'm very proud to say my parents taught me to be a kind person, have empathy and respect other people regardless of their backgrounds or faith. Our neighbours aren't Muslims and we swap the Eid and Xmas, Hanukkah, Diwali gifts.
