That’s a good question. Rape isn’t even one of the 10 commandments. There’s no mention of rape being bad in Islam either-just adultery. Seems the men who wrote those religions didn’t think it was worth condemning-and so some of their followers don’t either.
*Rape isn’t even mentioned in the 10 commandments!! What I wrote above makes it sound like there should be a commandment to rape. Oy. Obviously not what I meant!
