Shia Saudis, however, are a minority and treated badly, so that motivates them to question their second-class state. Sunni Muslims are fed a daily diet of supremacy ‘youre so lucky to be Muslim AND Arab, youre among the best, chosen, ppl etc’ so they’re less likely to question /4

It’s kind of sad/hilarious to see Saudi women so incredibly subjugated yet they will insist that they are Queens because they are told that. North Korea level brainwashing. They believe the propaganda vs looking objectively at their life. #NotAll, of course /4

(Dammit that was 5 ) Not only Saudi women either, most Muslim women buy the hype. ISLAM GIVES WOMEN THE MOST RIGHTS! Aren’t you worth half a male in court and in inheritance? What about Quran 4:34? What about Mohammed saying women are less intelligent? *crickets* /6

Aren't the men responsible for providing for their women, and not the other way around, as far as the Quran is concerned?

This could be one of the reasons for those who aren't keen on change to remain accepting of the ways life has been...unless, of course, the suffering is unbearable.

Those who suffer welcome change. And those who don't are less likely to see a reason for it.
