Because I grew up Muslim, I’m acutely aware of ‘the patriarchy’, obviously.
But even though the stench was strongest then, there are still clear wafts of it in my current life. It’s easier to fight, of course, but it’s still sad and gross to see/experience.

But do you think we can get rid of it without forcing it down the throat of society? Without causing an imbalance of opportunity in favor of woman.
I don’t think you can ever completely get rid of sexism and racism and loads of other -isms, but I think we can continue to fight them whenever they appear.
