Sure, there are women that choose to wear the hijab because they want to please Allah. There are also women that choose to cut off their daughter’s clitoris to please Allah. Just because they’re choosing it-doesn’t make it any less heinous.
It is one thing to choose for yourself, secure in a free society where you can choose otherwise at your leisure. It is quite another to choose for another person. Of course, there can be malign influence at work on adults.
But how does an adult woman choosing a hijab for herself, assuming that there is no threat of violence involved, compare to an adult woman mutilating a child? Or an adult murdering a child?

The psychological brainwashing done to women takes time to change, but the politics by men to control what women wear must end. In France, the Hijab should be allowed and 'the Burqa' banned. That is the safest way for the Arabs and Muslims to adapt to European culture.

There are women who choose to take/sell drugs,work in porn,pose naked to sell news papers. Sikh women can wear dastaars,hindus goonghats,nuns wear habits.If that is acceptable choice then surely hijab should also be a choice. Please comment.
