I’ll keep saying it, to some Muslims my
#MeToo story does not exist nor matter.
Real rape culture is rampant in Islamic communities. It’s a culture of protect the perpetrator and blame the victim. So many of us have fallen prey to it. Including Mona herself. For her to disregard you like that is unconscionable.
