I imagine it must be quite frustrating for liberals/progressives to have to see freaking Nikki Haley be the one to take the reigns on this common sense issue. Why can't there be more Sam Harris types of progressives who can join in this fight and not leave it all to the right?
Absolutely. Rational liberals have been saying that if we don’t smarten up we’re going to leave the right as the only viable option. And that’s what’s now happening. One side enthusiastically capitulates and the other side over zealously opposes. Those are our choices now.
