      Is this seriously an Arab tradition? How is it that I just seen this, and I am my self Arabic and been to many Arabic marriages but never seen this happen. So I'm like a little shocked that this is in our culture.

      Where are you from? A lot of countries are considered Arab 😊Also, this is old. If you grew up in a big city, you likely wouldn’t have seen it. It’s only done in the more rural areas now. I’ve seen it done jokingly, so I know of it, but I’ve never witnessed it seriously like that

      Ya, depends on the area. In Egypt ppl might still do it in rural areas...but no one in the big cities still does this.
