It's also notable how the Quran is unique among religious books in that it is by and large read in English/Arabic and not all the other languages Muslims speak. Whereas the Old and New Testaments have been translated to 100s of languages, from East Asian to African tribal ones.

One translation means is a tap with the finger. This was 7C. Imagine the lot if women then. The Quran was, is revolutionary. If you've seen 'Vikings' you've seen how women were treated 70yrs later. You have to look at it in context, the Quran was light yrs ahead of 7C society.
