I think thats the issue: it's brainwashing, indoctrination. Teaching an innocent child to hate is sadly all too easy.

You are proof that hate is a learned behavior and it therefore can be unlearned. In fact, often I find that those that are most loving are those that used to hate and then carved a new path the other way, like thinking the negative makes believing the positive more concrete.
