I feel ya'. I grew up a Jehovah's Witness, and left it behind in my late teens. Now, I go all out for the holidays!!! I love everything Christmas 
Everything #Christmas was prohibited, naturally, so now I make up for all those yrs of having to hear all about what Santa brought everyone else

Our folks put up a tree and bought us gifts until we were about 12 or 13 when they explained it wasn't our religion. They kept putting up a tree until about 20. Now my asshat brother-in-law convert won't let my nephew watch Christmas cartoons
