There are lots of things parents can do, send them to the local scouts for example. Let them make friends outside their community, which can be hard at the beginning but will pay off later in life. I fear the day I hear the word “Islamic Scouts”.
Conservative Muslims will never do that. The last thing hey want is for their kids to spend more time w NonMuslims. Before the Islamic school was built and I went to a public school-I even had to go home for lunch to restrict how much I interacted w nonMuslim kids.

This is interesting. There is a lot of damage being caused by telling little children you are a... so you play with other....and avoid.... A lot depends on the parents. Community can be a good thing but it also has disadvantages...
