What do I doooo??? It’s the first scenario you described...but it has the word ‘atheism’. How can I convey the angle without triggering ppl?

I voted for "From Al Qaeda to Atheism", but don't really know your story that well. Seems to me "Escaping Al Qaeda" is good if your story involves and actual escape from physical captivity, while the former is good if your escape was mostly an ideological transition.
