Agreed. But we’re not going to be ok w treating Muslims w contempt and calling veiled women bitches. I’m sure you have veiled women in your family-and I’m sure they’re not bitches.
I was born and raised in the West and I was forced to wear it from age of 9. These ideas don’t have borders. The same family/community shackles apply-except for govt, obviously. Women have to break through MORE barriers in Saudi, but there are barriers here too.
