      Conceptually, I have a problem with the comparison. But if we compared body count from inception & danger posed in 21st C, Islam is worse.

      It's not that. I guess I am a bit of a stickler for precision. There are flaws in the comparison, although I do agree both are fascist.

      And to offer a concession, I do admit there are parallels in some key ideological areas, yet there are also major flaws in the comparison.

      No, I am comparing the disparate effects/outcomes of the 2 ideologies on adherents to demonstrate flaw in comparison of 2 ideologies.

      You can compare them, sure. Does the existence of a few (key) parallels produce an equivalence, is probably the question I'd ask.
