@ConfessionsExMu I want to offer my opinion the Islam vs Islamism argument from SJME #18. 1) Islamism is nonsense. Islam should be named.

2) My problem with Islamism is that it creates a straw Islam, a convenient scapegoat for Mod Muslims committing crimes for Islam.

3) The issue I have with the denial of Islam's involvement in these atrocities is that Islamism is only a dishonest public relations device.

4) Islamism deflects culpability from Islam without actually addressing the problems.

5) Mod Muslims push the smoking gun into the hand if a mannequin and complain about how Islamism also victimises them. Another shift away.
