Is that even true though?
At every Q&A ppl say: "Your experience is not the majority" I wonder if they also dismiss rape victims-since only 1 in 5 women is raped.

That argument is deceptive. It's not about "majority" experience. It's about freedom of belief, freedom of speech, freedom of enquiry. Whipping a minority who have not really done anything wrong (eg. not wearing a hijab) to keep the majority in line is bad, coercion, oppression.
