What do you think about that? I totally disagree. I think Americans can't see their culture in the same way a fish doesn't know he's wet.
Listening to @HaramDeseret on the latest @SecularJihadist episode say that Americans don't have a culture. I hear this ALL THE TIME!

Other than a million things re art, music, etc. I think Enlightenment values/Constitution--Americans should be SO PROUD of that culture

It's a nation birthed from ideas. Separation of church & state. Govt of, by, & for the people. The founders were smart, intellectual people.

Totally agree. Therefore the fish analogy. A fish is immersed in water their whole life. If you take him out of water-then he'll get it.

Ppl need to travel. If an American thinks they don't have a culture, they should travel and then they'll clearly see their own culture.
