Obviously there are connotations, history..these are loaded and inflammatory terms. Can we not pretend use of either term is hunky dory?

Imagine if someone casually called for a "holocaust", in any context. Sure, the word pre-dates the Nazi atrocities, but its baggage matters.

That is a false comparison. A muslim using the words Jihad in terms of telling "truth to tyrants" is not the same as a Nazi slogan.

Yes it's the same. Theey're both using slogans and they're both using ambiguity.
