I wish human rights were universal. I wish ppl were treated w equal dignity regardless of where on the planet they happen to have been born.

I just watched a video of a screaming mother holding on to her 7 yr old crying daughter. She was being married off to an older cousin.

The mom couldn't save her daughter from being raped. Imagine if you had the shit luck of being born in a culture where this was the norm.
