In Canada we allow Sikh students to carry knives, but not other students. Whether it's a kirpan or a niqab, religion over safety is wrong.

Ex-sikh here and I agree with you 100% yasmine. History of practice is irrelevant. Religions shouldn't get exceptions.
Thank you, Nick. I know Sikh ppl are generally kind and peaceful, but that not the point. Religion should never supersede existing laws.
