VERY common. But most of those drones don't even understand Arabic/ know what they're chanting 'Amen' too...only 20% of Muslims are Arabic

Exactly what Yas said. This is super common in mosques in the West (particularly Sunni ones), and most people just nod along with amens.

But Islam is universal, doesn't Allah just give you the ability to understand Arabic when you are Muslim. Too bad I lost it after I quit.

Islam is intrinsically connected to the Arabic language/culture. It's kinda like Judaism in that way...religion and culture are melded.

Kind of. Look at Catholicism though. It spread like Islam, but it lost its connection to original lang/culture-unlike Judaism and Islam
