That's the thing with converts. They're not born into the religion and so read into it deeply, and STILL accept it. Muslims born into it
I don't get that. I forgive myself and have empathy for those brainwashed from birth...but to accept that as a grown adult...

That's how indoctrination/dogma works. What makes people grow skeptical and eventually leave, like I did is what makes me curious.

It depends on who converts them. Easy to teach them selective things while converting & say bad things are not compulsory

It is only at later stage they are to realise of the compulsions, and at that stage they're already wajib-ul-qatl for apostasy
