      I agree, but realistically, Deen's idea of the prophet is already in stark opposition to what most conservative Sunnis would believe.

      Yes. Quilliam doesn't appeal to the very people they need to bring into their fold. IMO there's no logical course except rejection of faith.

          That would be honest, but saying anything bad about the prophet would guarantee enmity by the devout. Maajid knows he's walking a fine line.

          What I appreciate re: Maajid is that he went on record that Muslims should tolerate portrayals or criticism of the prophet by non-Muslims.
