I'm realizing this convo is necessary, so I'll continue in this thread to clarify religion vs culture.

W 1.6 billion ppl, naturally Muslims are from different ethnic groups, geographical locations, cultures etc.

They share a religion. That's all. They have different languages, different foods, different clothings, different music...

Religion *obviously* impacts culture and vice versa, but so do a million other factors. Religion is just one aspect.

Ppl say I went to a 'Muslim' wedding. No, you didn't. You went a Pakistani wedding. The traditions re 3 days, mehndi etc

have nothing to do w Islam. And an Arab wedding would be completely different even tho they're also Muslim.
