What should I do? I have a friend who will support a lot w the self-publishing route. Actually he'll do all the work, and take a cut.

I'd do one time payment, one doesn't generally get rich from a book, a cut may not be worth it. Also thorough contract.
I'm not looking for $. I'm looking for reach. I want this book to go far and wide.

no, I know, I meant as far as splitting profits, it's generally a hassle not worth it. Contract is most important though.
