I honestly feel sick. There is a generation in in the west that never saw the videos or read the stories. They are ingrained in my brain forever 
. Maybe the media needs to start sharing them once again to remind ‘women’s rights groups’ that it’s not choice

It's easy in a western democracy for white women to claim even the lion's share of government jobs, educational opportunities, and wealth. What if women had to fight for these things?

It's not easy & it has been hard fought for. Don't begrudge one group what they have over another, fight for all to have it. You can be angry w the West for not fighting for others but when governments don't & wont that's not so easy.

Pakistan is key. Afghanistan was cobbled together by the British empire from disparate tribal areas. Much of the Pakistani army is Pashtun, as are the Taliban. Pashtun in the Afghan army are not going to fight their tribal brothers. Pressure should be put on Pakistan.
