@YasMohammedxx my mother wears the hijab, my sister does not. These were their personal choices yet your biased opinions are weaponized by European countries to justify outlawing hijab. How someone wants to dress should be up to them not decided by your warped feelings.

Having said that I completely agree that it should not be forced on anyone and that legal enforcement of it is appalling.

That’s all I’m saying too. I support women who are being forced to wear it and who want to be
#FreeFromHijab If you followed me, you’d know that...instead of making assumptions, accusations, and attacking me for things you invented in your own imagination.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

I just listened to your entire conversation with
@SamHarrisOrg in which it was compared to religious brainwashing.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

You must have misunderstood. I didnt compare it to religious brainwashing, I said it’s a specific example of religious brainwashing. When your prophet tells you to cover your hair from men or hang in Hell as your brain boils-thats not a choice.Thats coercion. Thats indoctrinationpic.twitter.com/1qpDVHq1Al

1. I'm not religious 2. Hadith validity depends largely on denominations, e.g. as a shia your taught that almost all hadith are made up by Sunnis 3. My issue is that Europeans have used this reasoning to invalidate the legitimate choice of those that wear it voluntarily.

I apologize if I came off as hostile but it's painful to remember how my mother was attacked for wearing it, growing up in Europe.

I’m sorry your mother was attacked for wearing it. That’s unacceptable. I’m glad she was in EU where there are laws to protect her freedom of choice. Millions of women are not as lucky as your mom. They live in countries where the actual govt attacks them for not wearing it.

I completely agree that no one should be forced to confirm with religious doctrine. There has to be a way to talk about it without making it seem no rational person would ever choose to follow it voluntarily.

Have you ever worn hijab? I wore hijab and niqab. I truly believe no person would wear it unless they are being coerced by their God, society, or family. This is evidenced by the fact that no women who is not either Muslim or living under Islam wears hijab. Only coerced women do.

Are you saying that my mother does not have a right to pick a religion and follow it? She didn't wear it till her 20s. My sister in-law didn't wear it till her mid 20s, than decided she was the equivalent to born again, just to stop wearing it 2 years ago.

If I became mormon tomorrow and gave up coffee, would you consider that coercion? It is apparent that due to your own circumstances it has become impossible to believe that someone would make that choice.
