Re the criticism: @SamHarrisOrg & I came up w the subtitle after I wrote the book. I did have the same concern-that it wasn’t explicitly stated-but it was definitely implicitly stated throughout. I decided to leave it that way since I prefer tell ppl where to look,not what to see
I prefer it that way not only because it’s part of my philosophy as a college professor, but also because I grew up w such certitude about everything and critical analysis of nothing.
