Nothing harmless about it. It is trying to portray veils as something detached from religion, when in fact it has everything to do with it. Can't support that. Why condone this like it's their choice when it's their men who choose it.
Absolutely. Women wear hijab because theyre compelled to by their religion, society, or family. It’s not a free choice like wearing a hat or a scarf. And ppl who speak of it as such are either ignorant or liars. Feminism is about choice. Theres no choice here. #HijabIsRapeCulture
